Tronquoy Lalande Saint-Estèphe 2012

14 year old Saint Estèphe for under $50!  What else is there to say?  Turns out quite a bit - this is a beautiful, fully mature glass of Bordeaux that has shimmering dark/red fruits, wonderful secondary herbaceous nuance and a lovely spine of acidity that keeps it light on its feet.  The beauty of vintages like 2012 is that great wines from the vintage are hanging around, at outstanding prices, ready for real wine people to snatch them up and enjoy!  Be a real wine person...
