Terre Rouge L'Autre Sierra Foothills 2015

There's no other way to say it - Terre Rouge is the ultimate gem left in the Sierre Foothills, if not all of California.  They produce wines of stunning quality and varietal character at what amounts to head-spinningly low prices.  If that weren't enough, their extensive library of older wines is even more impressive.  And that's what we have today.  This L'Autre is 79% Grenache, 14% Mourvédre and 7% Syrah and it's a deeply complex, mature glass of solar Rhône-style red.  Dark, pungent fruits are interwoven with all manner of savory, stony nuance.  It's like drinking mature Chateauneuf for $41.
