Envinate Misturado de Abeleda 2022

The Misturado cuvée is from a single mixed-planted parcel (70% red, 30% white grapes). The grapes are co-fermented 100% whole cluster and raised in used 300 and 400 liter French oak for 11 months with no racking. A beautiful, light, and elegant red that that could pass for the love child of an aromatically nuanced natural wine and a lithe, delicate red Burgundy. The brightness and vibrant energy of the wine is no doubt influenced by the mineral rich soils, which provide a gritty backbone.
