Fabrice Dodane, owner of Domaine de Saint Pierre, is part of a small group of discerning Jura producers who push the boundaries, making stunning, profound and complex wines. Les Brulées cuvée is from vineyards located on clay and limestone in the village of Mathenay in the Arbois appellation. This Arbois Blanc is vibrant, rich and very profound. The bouquet opens up on a little reduction which quickly gives way to unveil a magnificent fruit and minerality. The stone fruit, green tea leaves and white flower flavors are backed up by gorgeous wet stone notes. The palate is rich yet very fresh and driven on a strong and velvety acid structure.
