Anseillan is a historic hamlet to the east of the Lafite Rothschild estate, and these vines were incorporated into Lafite in 1970. The 2021 is comprised entirely of Merlot, making for a very unique and refined expression of the Pauillac appellation, and is a wonderful example of Bordeaux's new direction.
