If you asked me to picture what the 'platonic ideal' of affordable Cali Pinot Noir would be, this would be exactly what pops into my mind. From the very exciting SLO Coast, this is a perfectly bright, transparent, ethereal, fragrant, balanced and just plain delightful glass of Pinot. There are very few Cali Pinots left that deliver this level of typicity for this price. Period.
