The Brumaio is a simply lovely glass of Morellino, the local strain of Sangiovese from the area around Scansano in Southern Tuscany. It has a darker tint to the fruit, but, at its heart, it's a classic, mineral/leathery glass of Sangiovese with genuine personality. A nice change from Chianti, and a value to boot.
