Certain producers of top-tier wine enjoy the wonderful duality of a devoted following from more casual drinkers and legit street cred with the hardcore collectors.

When it comes to Chablis, Patrick Piuze is that producer.

His wines just keep getting better.  Over the last few vintages, he's really honed his style, refining the precision and terroir-driven nature.

He's one of the most obsessive students of soil on earth and knows the various terroirs of Chablis perhaps better than anyone.  

Even his 'village-level' Chablis are bottled according to their particular 'terroir' (hence the names).  

Whenever these wines sell out in a particular vintage, we spend the next few months fielding questions about when we'll be getting more.

Today's offer is for the delightfully drinkable 2015s from all levels.

Where 2014 is a modern-classic vintage for Chablis, the 2015s are warmer, rounder and more forward.  The top wines will age well in the medium term and the 'Terroir' line of wines are just juicy, mineral and ready to go!

The Terroir wines are here in NY and will be available for shipment/collection in the next week.

The 1ers and Grands Crus are due to arrive by the first week of September.

'TERROIR' LINE --

Chablis 'Terroir de Chablis' 2015 -- this is usually my favorite all-around wine in the lineup and that is the case in '15 as well.  It blends all the elements (weight, texture, minerality, freshness) perfectly.

Chablis 'Terroir de Courgis' 2015 -- the Courgis is always the weightiest of the bunch thanks to the terroir's clay element.  But the taut mineral character is on display as well.

Chablis 'Terroir de Fye' 2015 -- the Fye is very aromatic and intensely mineral.  It definitely has the most 'cut', if you will.    

Chablis 'Terroir Découverte' 2015 -- Des Couverts has the coolest micro-climate of the bunch and produces a wine that shows lovely, airy, delicate, well-developed flavors.
