MCF Rare Wine

The Deal of the Year

This will be a shorty.

Livio Sassetti Pertimali's Brunello di Montalcino is a standard denizen of our shelves here at MCF, and it is so in every vintage.

Their uncompromisingly traditional style is one I've always been hugely fond of and, unfortunately, as the word continues to get out, their prices have steadily rose.

The 2010/2011 were selling for roughly $50/btl, but the 2012 spiked right up to nearly $70.  I expect the highly-anticipated 2013 to be at least the same, if not more.

However, just yesterday, we (as in me and all of you) were given a nice little gift from Sassetti's US importer.

Because of how much of it we sell every year, they reached out and asked me if I wanted a shot to clean them out of the lovely 2011 at a really nice price.

After a bit of back and forth, here we are, and you are all the beneficiaries!

The delicious, mineral, irony, animal 2011 Livio Sassetti Brunello Normale at the below pricing!

This is the deal of the year - my gift to all you fans of old-school Sangiovese.

ARRIVES FIRST WEEK OF JAN, 2018
