One reason this year is better than last year is that, today, Billecart's top Rosé bottling which is made only in the best vintages and only from the top Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit from the estate's various terroirs, and is the paradigm for precise, finely nuanced Rosé Champagne, is in this newsletter at $159/btl. 

On top of that, I also have the Billecart's 2007 Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Louis Salmon, a wine that, had I had it on the shelf last year, would have been $189/btl.  In today's newsletter, though (yes, this very one you're reading), the Louis is going for $135/btl. 

A finely cut, elegant, delicately nuanced vintage Rosé for $70/btl off...
