New Release: Pascal Cotat's 2015s

When it comes to Sancerre, the Cotat name is perhaps the most revered in the appellation.

Pascal Cotat and his cousin Francois Cotat both produce stunning wines from the holdings of the original estate that their fathers shared before them.

They both adhere to the strictly traditional practices they were brought up with, though Pascal's wines are always perhaps the slightest bit more polished of the two.

Today, I'm happy to offer some of Pascal's fabulous 2015s at very sharp pricing.

Pascal's 2015s are worthy successors to the fabulous 2014s, but they will check different boxes in terms of style.  They're definitely a bit riper, but that ripeness gives them some seriously amazing texture.

The Monts Damnés, from the steepest, highest vineyard in the area is always more focused than the rounder, more textured La Grande Cote, but they both have the classic spine of mineral acidity on the finish.

These represent the pinnacle of Sauvignon Blanc in the Loire and whether you're looking to enjoy them young or want to let these go for a decade in the cellar (which they certainly will), these 2015s are ones you'll want to give some serious consideration to.

You also have the chance to get them in quantity here as well!
