The newest addition to their Barolo stable, from the Coste di Rose vineyard, is characterized by the Tortonian sandstone in the soil, yielding an incredibly high-toned, aromatic and tantalizing Barolo. While it's thought of as a wine for near-term drinking, in my opinion, there's absolutely no rush to guzzle this one right away. It's one I've been gaining quite an affinity for.
