Poderi Colla Barolo Bussia Dardi Le Rose 2019

MCF Rare Wine

The Colla family has over 300 years of experience in wine. The estate did not formalize until 1994 and they have always striven to make wines with elegance and polish while others around them are often looking to make wines of power. It was, in fact, the Colla family that made the first commercially sold single vineyard bottling of Barolo. At this time, single vineyards were not the trend as Barolo was historically a wine that showed the art of blending. From the hill of Bussia in Barolo is this historical vineyard. The wine is aged in both Slavonian and French oak casks for about two years. Rich, full bodied, Dardi Le Rose 2019 is combines power, harmony and complexity to perfection. The palate is herbal with black tea tanning among subtle and elegant cranberry and vanilla flavors.
