Chiesamonti is from single 1.3-hectare parcel called Chiesa Monti. The 10-year-old vines consist of almost all Sangiovese with a touch of Canaiolo. Elevage is 2 years in 5hl Stockinger oak barrels, very similar to the Le Trame regimen. The 2019 is already showing well with sultry red Sangiovese fruit over grainy tannin, in contrast to the Le Trame which has a tighter structure and will need more time to relax.
