Paulo Machado, who founded the Azores Wine Company Wine with two friends in 2014, now has his own project: Insula Vinus. There, among other things, the Insula Vinus Arinto do Açores 2018 is created. On the palate, this is a Vino Atlantico through and through, bone dry, yet creamy, leidht spicy and herbal, largely devoid of fruit, if anything citrusy. The acidity is present and, together with the distinct saltiness, makes for sweetness. A bright, clear wine to which you immediately want to be served fish and seafood.
