Le Piane Rosso Maggiorina 2021

Fresh, light Alto Piemonte reds like this absolute gem of a wine from Le Piane are my favorite things to drink in the Springtime.  There's just something about the lively, driving, linear qualities, coupled with the savory/herbaceous tinged red fruits that fits so perfectly with both the food and mood of this time of year, and this absolutely fantastic little wine is easily one of the best sub-$30 bottles I've ever tried...no, I'm serious...
