Iñaki Garrido's Las Toscas Blanco is one of the best white wines I've tasted all year. It comes from the Las Dehesas vineyard, a 1/2 hectare plot of ungrafted 150-200 year old Listan Blanco that sits 1400 meters above the Atlantic on Tenerife. It's the most beautifully-textured, smoky, mineral example of Listan I've had...maybe ever. I'm already sad for how little there is to go around...
