The Vignoble d'Elian, is, pound for pound, my favorite wine that Da Ros makes. This is a blend of 50% Cab Franc, 30% Merlot and 20% Syrah and is just unbelievably delicious, especially for the price. It's dark, intensely mineral, wild, spicy and has a chiseled focus to it that holds it all upright. Think Bordeaux meets Southern Rhône...or just think Southwest...
