The wines from David Croix and Damien Courbet's first vintage are absolute showstoppers, and this fruity, and electric Savagnin is no exception. Made in the "ouillé" style (as opposed to the oxidative, nutty Savagnins that also come out of the Jura), this drop is as fresh as it gets. Slow, whole-cluster pressing, wild yeast fermentation, and a mix of concrete and neutral oak all combine to make a superb expression of the grape in all of its minerally, citrus-driven glory!
