You may be familiar with the French notion of Âmevive, but you might be familiar with this young winery of the same name. Something tells me, though, that you will be hearing a whole lot about them in the coming years. This Periphierie is made of Syrah, Mourvedre and Marsanne, and is a true 'single vineyard' wine, in that it's comprised of all three of the original blocks of this amazing site. Light, fresh, highly aromatic, but also deep and complex, it's a real stunner.
