Piemaggio's absolutely lights out Chianti Classico RISERVA from the very same, best-of-the-century-so-far, 2016 vintage. Yes, it's more expensive. Yes, you'll really wanna let it age a bit more. Also yes, it's worth both the time and the money, I assure you. Take all of the glorious, dark, mineral-packed Sangiovese character, with that same gloriously open-knit, natural texture that the normale Classico shows, but, wind up said knitting much tighter, and up the sense of nobility even further. Fabulous stuff!
